About Us

Carla, Betty and the staff love creating beautiful treasures that generations will admire while inspiring customers to create their own cherished project.  They thrive on learning new techniques and passing them on to their customers.  No project is complete without having all the right tools.  We dedicate and entire wall to just notions!  We offer beautiful cottons and rich colors of wool .  The store is kept fresh with gorgeous samples that draw customers to come in up close and study the fabric, quilting and binding.  All around the store are little vignettes to showcase a book, notion or sample.  Carla and Jama are always changing out the flowers, greenery and displays to brighten shoppers day.  The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and love to welcome all shoppers with a cheery voice!  Kay is the Group Leader of Garden City Kansas Quilts of Valor #4908, and she keeps all Janome machines sold and service information up to date. Jama keeps all class kits and block of month kits organized and bundled for participants. Valerie is ready to help any customer with a cheery smile and laugh.
